DVI Converters
A WolfPack DVI converter is a device that converts a DVI signal to a different type of signal, such as HDMI or DisplayPort that can be used with our WolfPack DVI Matrix Switchers. DVI is a digital interface that can support resolutions up to 1920x1200 at 60Hz. A DVI converter can be used to connect a device that has a DVI output to a display device that has a different type of input. For example, you can use a DVI to HDMI converter to connect a computer with a DVI output to a TV with an HDMI input.
Examples of DVI converters:
- DVI to HDMI converter: This type of converter converts a DVI signal to an HDMI signal. HDMI is a newer standard that offers higher resolutions and refresh rates than DVI.
- DVI to DisplayPort converter: This type of converter converts a DVI signal to a DisplayPort signal. DisplayPort is another newer standard that offers higher resolutions and refresh rates than DVI.
- DVI to VGA converter: This type of converter converts a DVI signal to a VGA signal. VGA is an older standard that is not as widely supported as HDMI or DisplayPort.
